Listings in the KW Mobile App

The mobile app is designed to show active listings from local mls IDX feeds. When a user searches for listings on the KW app here is what is happening.

The KW App will request that you search by Zip, City & State, or Address. Once this information is put in and the 'GO' button is pressed, the app will reach out and find an idx feed from a KW market center in the area being searched.

An IDX feed is an internet data exchange feed, basically a listing search solution that is built specifically for a market center. An IDX will typically show all active listings from a mls the market center had the IDX built for. The IDX will also funnel leads to the market center when it is used to search. KW market center IDXs are built and maintained by Wolfnet, a partner vendor company. When an area is searched on the mobile app, the app is grabbing that information from the IDX.

KW Market Centers will build IDX solutions for each MLS that they are using. Once an IDX is built by Wolfnet then that MLS's information will be listed on the KW App.

If a listing is not showing up on the app then there is something causing the listing to not syndicate out from the MLS. The agent would first need to confirm that the listing is active in the MLS and it is being sent out. Remember only active listings will syndicate to the mobile app for certain. Also, a listing may not show up on the app because it is in an MLS that an IDX has not been built for. The market center will then need to build an IDX for that MLS.
