We're thrilled to be bringing you the most powerful release of Agent Sites to date. The reimagined Agent Sites are packed with innovative features built to perform above and beyond the platform you already know, so you can streamline your workflow and boost productivity.
Before you start customizing your new KW Agent Site, you first need to ensure you Upgrade to the New Agent Site Experience. Once you upgrade, you will see a new navigation in the Consumer Applet, in Command, and you will be able to follow along with this article. If you are on a team and have created your KW Team Site, team members with Enhanced or Unlimited permissions have the ability to manage their KW Team Site. Before you start editing the pages of your website, it's recommended to add the individual content elements to the Library and then edit the page. This will make editing each page easier, and you won't have to sidetrack to add the content elements while building out your pages. |
Along with the regular Agent Site, you also have the ability to create a single property landing page, for any listing in the MLS, that you can share with whomever you want. These landing pages give you the ability to share listing details, without someone getting lost on your site, and has great lead capture and customization.
To create a single property landing page:
Access
1. Log in to https://agent.kw.com with your KW login credentials.
2. Click to access the Websites Applet, , on the left side of the page.
3. On the My Websites tab, click the Edit Agent Site button.
4. At the top right of the page, click to access Expert Mode.
If you are on a team and have created your KW Team Site, team members with Enhanced or Unlimited permissions have the ability to manage their KW Team Site. To switch to your Team Site, click your name, at the top of the page, select your team from the drop-down and follow along below. |
5. In the Quick Start section, click select Property Landing Page Template.
Select the Listing and Featured Image/Video
1. Click in the Featured Listing field, search for the listing with either the Street Address or MLS Number, select the listing from the results drop-down, and you will see the listing photos and information auto-populate the landing page preview.
The listing must have been entered into the MLS for it to appear in this search. If you created an Internal Listing in Command, it will not be available for use here. |
2. Enter the Page Title (Required). This doesn't add text to the actual page, but gives the landing page an internal name, and will also show on the browser tab, when someone has the landing page open.
3. In the Featured Image/Video field, you will see the first listing image, from the MLS, pulled in automatically as the featured/hero image. If you want to change the hero image, click the Default Listing Image drop-down, and select either Custom Image or Custom Video. Use the preview to make sure it looks just how you want it to.
- When adding images or video, you have the ability to add new content directly, or you can search the Agent Website Builder Content Library and select images you have already added beforehand.
- If you want to add a video, it will need to be hosted on either YouTube or Vimeo and you will use the video link to add it to the Content Library.
With regards to the actual hero image you will be uploading, the recommended size ratio is 16x9. That means images that are at 1280x720, 1920x1080, 3200x1800, etc. are all optimal image sizes. If the image you want to use is different from this ratio, it will still work, but the edges might be cropped and the image will be resized to fit. The best practice is to use a high-quality, large image, with nothing integral being located on the edges of the image. For video, this ratio is what is used for standard HD videos, so should not be a problem for optimization. |
Default Page Content
In the Page Content section, you will see that there are several modules already added to the page. Here you have the ability to edit and remove some of the content, as well as reorder the content on the page:
- Core Details
- Agent Information
- Image Carousel
- Map View
- Contact Form
1. In the Core Details module, you can enter a Property Title, if you want text to display above the listing details (Optional), and then you can choose to hide any of the details using the toggle buttons.
2. Next, the Agent Information module is not configurable. These details pull from your KW Marketing Profile and can be edited there. You can, however, reorder this section to appear where you want it on the page.
3. Just like in the previous step, the Listing Carousel module is not configurable. These images pull from the MLS and must be changed there, if there is an issue with a listing photo. You can, however, reorder this section to appear where you want it on the page.
4. The Map View module has one setting that allows you to Hide the Boundary Display Line (neighborhood boundary). You can also click to remove this module totally, and reorder this section on the page.
Additional Modules
Custom Content Block
1. At the bottom of the page, click + Add Module and then select Property Landing: Custom Content Block.
2. First, enter the Header text and Content (250 character limit).
3. Next, you will see the ability to add up to 3 images, though only one is required. The way these will lay out is the Primary Custom Image displays on one side, the other 2 images display on the other, but a little smaller. The text will display in the middle of the page, between the images.
- Use the Flip Orientation toggle to change the side of the page the various images display on.
- When you click to add an Image, you can either select an image you have already added to the content library, or use the Create New flow.
With regards to the images you will be uploading, the recommended size ratio is 4x3. That means images that are at 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864, etc. are all optimal image sizes. That being said, if you get your image ratio close, it should still look good on the site. |

2. Here, simply enter the URL of the virtual tour. This can technically be any URL, there are no limitations. The page will include a "Start Tour" button, which will link out directly to the URL you enter here.
- Ensure you include "https://" at the beginning of the URL you enter here.
