In the team Command account, using Tasks is a great way to communicate with your team about the things that need to be done to move forward. Now, we have the ability to create tasks with multiple assignees, in the team Command account. When you assign multiple team members to a task you can either assign all of the selected team members to one task (we need to get something done, anyone can complete), or create a version of the same task for each of the assignees (each team member needs to complete their own version of the task).
- Standard - Team members with Standard permissions are able to create and assign tasks to anyone on the team. If a contact is associated with the task, they can assign it to Enhanced and Unlimited permission team members as well as Standard permission team members as long as they have been designated as an assignee or collaborator on the contact record. However, they are only able to see and manage tasks that they have either been assigned or created.
- Enhanced/Unlimited - Team members with Enhanced or Unlimited permissions are also able to create and assign tasks to anyone on the team and associate any team contact with the task as well. They are also able to see and manage all team tasks.
To create a team task with multiple assignees:
1. Log in to https://agent.kw.com with your KW login credentials.
2. Click your name, at the top right of the page, and ensure that your team is selected, not your personal account.
3. Click the Tasks icon, , on the left sidebar.
4. Click Create New Task at the top right of the page.
5. Complete the top portion of the Create Task modal. When you get to the "Assigned To" field, at the bottom of the modal, click in the field and select the team members you want to be assigned to the task.
6. Once multiple team members are added, you will see the Task Completion section appear. Select one of the two options:
- Any Assignee can Complete - only one task will be created that can be completed by any of the team members.
- All Assignees must Complete - a separate task will be created for each team member assigned, and they will each need to complete the task created for them.
