In the Command App, we have several notifications that will let you know when something important happens, so that you can take action. There are two types of notifications:

In-App - these appear inside the Command App. They can be access by tapping the bell icon,
, at the bottom right of the Command App.
- Push - these appear as device notifications from the Command App, even when the Command App is closed. Click the notification on your device to view it in the Command App.
You now have the ability to control which individual notifications, of each type, you receive or don't receive. Notification preferences are organized into categories based on functionality or applet. The categories you see are based on the applets you have access to. For instance, only KW leaders with proper access to Recruits, in CommandMC, will see the Recruits category.
To turn notifications on/off using the Command App:
1. Log in to the Command App with your KW login credentials.
2. Tap the menu icon, , at the bottom right of the screen, and select Notification Preferences. Then, select the Notification Category you want to manage notifications for.
3. Select the notification settings you want applied to your Command App, for both In-App and Push, then tap Apply.
- You can also use the Select All options, at the top of the list, to either turn all notifications in that category on or off.
The changes you make here in the Command App will then sync with the notification settings you can find in Command, which also include desktop settings as well.
