Before you start customizing your new KW Agent Site, you first need to ensure you Upgrade to the New Agent Site Experience. Once you upgrade, you will see a new navigation in the Consumer Applet, in Command, and you will be able to follow along with this article. |
We can now edit the KW Agent Site Homepage within Command, in a new, streamlined workflow. This makes it easy to get your Site launched cleanly, and quickly. To edit your KW Agent Site Homepage in Command:
Access
1. Log in to https://agent.kw.com with your KW login credentials.
2. Click to access the Websites Applet, , on the left side of the page.
3. On the My Websites tab, click the Edit Agent Site button.
4. On the left side of the page, click Homepage.
As you start editing the Homepage, you will notice the preview on the right side of the page. As you start making changes, you will need to click Publish to actually see the changes you made, in the preview. |
Homepage Layout
1. In the Homepage layout section, you have the ability to choose from 3 layouts which determine what elements are included in the hero/banner section and which page sections are included in your homepage. Click in the Homepage Layout section.
You will see 3 layouts to choose from, though you will be able to edit the hero/banner content after you select a layout:

Search (Default) - Hero/Banner section includes an image carousel or video, and a residential search with Headline/Title text.

Hero - Hero/Banner section includes an image carousel or video, with no search bar or CTA button, and no Headline/Title text.

2. Hover over the Layout you want and click Select Layout.
- Click Preview Layout to see a larger preview on the left side of the page.
3. A preview will appear with what the layout will generally look like with the Hero/Banner content and navigation. Click Apply Layout, at the bottom right of the pop-up.
Banner
1. Click into the Banner section.
2. First enter a Headline / Title (optional). This is the bold text that displays above the search bar, at the top of your homepage.
- Deselect the Toggle if you don't want this text to appear.
- If you don't enter anything here, the text will default to "Let's find your dream home".
3. In the Banner Image section, you will see the defaults for the hero image section of the homepage. Here you can either add a carousel of images (up to 5) or add a video that will auto-play (with no sound) as the banner:

Images - select the Images option, and you can edit the images in the Banner Image carousel, either adding new images or removing existing images.

- For the best results, use images with a minimum width of 1920px, smaller than 20MB, and 8:3 image size ratio.
- You can only add up to 5 images to the Banner Carousel. There are 3 default images added, you might have to remove some of these, if you want to add more than 2 additional images.
- If you need to reset to the default images, you can use Expert Mode to do this.

Video - select the Video option, and the use one of the 3 options:

- YouTube - using this option, enter either the full Video Link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nWqnlGe7PY&t=13s) or the Video ID (5nWqnlGe7PY&t=13s).
- Vimeo - using this option, enter either the full Video Link (https://vimeo.com/773222996) or the Video ID (773222996).

Upload Video - click to browse, select, and upload a video file.
- There is a maximum video size of 500MB.
- Supported video file types are (.3gpp, .3gpp2, .3gp2, .mp4, .mpeg, .ogg, or .webm).

4. In the Content section, you have 3 options for what appears below the Headline / Title:

Search Bar (Default) - this will show the normal search bar visitors can use to search properties through. Use the Hide Rent toggle, if you don't want the Rent option to show above the search bar.

- Hiding the Rent option only removes it from the hero section. Visitors will still be able to search for rental properties through the larger search pages.

- Custom Button - use this option to replace the search bar with a button that links out to the page of your choice. Use the Button Label field to enter the text you want on the button, then select either URL to link the button to any web page, or Internal Page to link the button to a page you have created on your site.
- None - clears everything from this section, except for the Headline / Title and your hero image or video.
5. Click Publish, at the top right of the page.
Featured Properties
1. Click into the Featured Properties section.
- If you want to hide this section, hove over it and click the hide icon,
.
2. At the top of the Featured Properties section, you can edit the Headline/Title and Description text.
3. Next, enter the criteria for featured listings to automatically pull on to your homepage. Enter a Center Point (address, zip code, specific park or business name), an Auto-Populate Radius (use the sliding scale), and select a Listing Prices range (use the sliding scale).
- For more detailed options around Featured Listings, you can use Expert Mode to control which listings show up in this section.
4. Click Publish, at the top right of the page.
Testimonials
1. Click into the Testimonials section.
- If you want to hide this section, hover over it and click the hide icon,
.
2. In this section, you can edit the Headline/Title and Description text.
- By default, this module won't show up, since you won't have any testimonials published and we won't display a blank section on your homepage.
- Click here to learn how to create and publish testimonials to display in this section.
3. Click Publish, at the top right of the page.
Blog Articles (Search Homepage Layout Only)
1. If you have selected the Search Homepage Layout, click into the Blog Articles section to edit.
- If you want to hide this section, hover over it and click the hide icon,
.
2. In this section, you can edit the Headline/Title and Description text.
3. Click Publish, at the top right of the page.
Stats (Hero and Brand Homepage Layouts Only)
1. If you have selected either the Hero or Brand Homepage Layouts, click into the Stats section to edit.
- If you want to hide this section, hover over it and click the hide icon,
.
2. At the top of the section, you can edit the Title and Description text.
3. You will see 4 stats entered by default, which is the maximum number of stats you can display. For each stat, enter a custom Value and Description.
- Click the X, at the top right of a stat, to remove.
- If you have less than 4 stats entered, you can click + Add Stat to add more.
4. You have the option to add a CTA button, below your stats. Use the toggle to turn the CTA button on/off, and enter a Button Label if you decide to add.
5. If you turned on the CTA button, choose where you want to link the button. You have 2 options to choose from:
- URL - starting with "https://", enter any custom URL in the space provided.
- Internal Page - use the drop-down to select any page associated with your Site.
6. Click Publish, at the top right of the page.
Featured Links (Hero and Brand Homepage Layouts Only)
1. If you have selected either the Hero or Brand Homepage Layouts, click into the Featured Links section to edit.
- If you want to hide this section, hover over it and click the hide icon,
.
2. At the top of the section, you can edit the Subtitle and Title text.
- The Subtitle is placed above the Title, in smaller text, at the top of the section.
3. You will see 3 link cards added by default. You can remove cards, add new cards (up to 3), edit the Card Title, and remove the default image and replace with your own.
- When you add a custom image, use a large, high-quality image (1920px is optimal). The total size of the images depends on how many link cards have been added, and the viewers screen size. The system will auto-crop the sides of your image, keeping the quality, so make sure the focus of the image is in the middle.
4. Choose where you want to link the card. You have 2 options to choose from:
- URL - starting with "https://", enter any custom URL in the space provided.
- Internal Page - use the drop-down to select any page associated with your Site.
5. Click Publish, at the top right of the page.
