Before you start customizing your new KW Agent Site, you first need to ensure you Upgrade to the New Agent Site Experience. Once you upgrade, you will see a new navigation in the Consumer Applet, in Command, and you will be able to follow along with this article. |
There are several theme options to change the color scheme of the background and buttons on your site. To edit the theme for your KW Agent Site in Command:
Access
1. Log in to https://agent.kw.com with your KW login credentials.
2. Click to access the Websites Applet, , on the left side of the page.
3. On the My Websites tab, click the Edit Agent Site button.
4. Click the Theme Icon, , on the left side of the page.
5. First, choose from one of the two Global Themes available. The one that has the Edit Theme button is currently selected. Hover over the other one and click Select Theme, if you want to switch.
- This selection sets the global default theme, but you will be able to edit the colors, fonts and button styles, in the next steps.
If you switch to one of the Dark themes, you might need change the Market Center logo, at the top left of your site, so that it contrasts with the background. You don't actually edit this in the KW Website Builder, but in your KW Marketing Profile (or in the Team Marketing Profile). Edit the Market Center / Brokerage Logo, then give the system around an hour to pick up the change on your site. |
6. Now we can customize specific elements of the theme. First, you can decide if you want a different color scheme than the default.
- When looking at the options, you'll see two colors for each option. The color on the left is the button color, and the color on the right is for the main background (light or dark theme).
7. Next, you can customize the fonts used throughout your site.
8. Finally, choose which corner shape you want content boxes and buttons to have (Pill, rounded, or square).
9. Click Save Changes, at the bottom right of the page.
10. Before you fully publish to your live site, click View in Browser, at the top right of the page, to see a preview of what it will all look like on your live site. You can then make further changes until it looks just how you want.
11. Finally, click Publish, at the top right of the page. This will make it instantly live.
