In case you already have a PieSync account, which you created through piesync.com (instead of through Command), then that is no cause for concern. You don’t need to do anything and you can just continue to use PieSync as you did before.
As PieSync is built into Command, you are able to access your PieSync connections directly within the Command platform. In case you want that, you can connect your existing PieSync account to your Command account. But first, you will have to make sure that the email address registered to your PieSync account is the same as the one that is registered to your Command Profile. Here’s how you can check this:
- The email address that is registered to your PieSync account is the one that you use to login to piesync.com. It’s the same email address PieSync will have used to email you in the past.
- The email address linked to your Command account can be found on your Command profile page. To get there go to Command and click on your name in the top right corner. Then click ‘Profile’ in the drop-down menu.
If the email address is the same, you are free to click ‘Connect Account’ in the Command settings. This will connect your existing PieSync account to your Command account, allowing you to manage your pre-existing PieSync connection within the Command interface.
If the email addresses are not the same, then clicking ‘Connect Account’, will cause you to create a brand new PieSync account. This is not ideal, so please reach out to PieSync Customer Support (support@piesync.com) to request changing the email address of PieSync account before continuing.
