When you create your KW Agent Site, you will choose a subdomain as one of the first steps in the creation process. This subdomain will look like this: xxxx.kw.com. As long as you have an active role, on your KW White Pages profile, your subdomain belongs to you and other agents cannot claim the same subdomain.

If you leave your current Market Center and join a new one, there should be overlap, with the new MC adding roles before the old MC removes your current roles. Because of this, there should be no interruption with your KW Agent Site subdomain.
If you are leaving KW, you Market Center will eventually remove your roles, as part of their off boarding process (check with your Market Center to find out what the off boarding process is). As soon as the roles are removed from your KW White Pages profile, you will have 5 days before your KW Agent Site is disabled. After those 5 days, agents will be able to claim your subdomain for their own use.
If you are using a custom domain (paul.com or something similar) that you have purchased from a domain store, you will still keep ownership of that domain, but will need to go into the domain store to redirect the domain to a new site of your choosing.
