When setting up Twilio within Command, there is a chance that you may get an error that the account cannot be created at this time, or that there was a general error when setting up your account. There are two reasons why this may happen.
1. Credit card/payment issues
Solution: Check with your bank to ensure that the charges went through. Some companies will put a hold on the card or block online orders from new companies. As soon as the credit card company confirms that the charge went through and that they no longer have it blocked, you should be able to sign in to Twilio and continue the setup process. If the charges did go through without any issue, please move to the next reason below.
2. Twilio has no numbers available for the 512 area code
Solution: Twilio has a limited set of numbers that users can request for specific area codes. More numbers do become available as users switch their numbers off of the 512 area code and to a personal zip code. If you want to keep the 512 area code, please wait 24-48 hours and try to sign up again. You will get connected as long as a number becomes available. The second way to resolve this is to contact Twilio directly and purchase a local number with them, and request that they put that on your account instead of the 512 number.
