In Command, we have separated an agent's personal Command account from their team Command accounts. As of now the only applets with team functionality are Contacts, SmartPlans, and Campaigns but more applets will have team functionality in the near future. Users that are a part of a team will have their own personal Command account as well as a team Command account that they switch between at any time. When using the team Command account, users with either an Enhanced or Unlimited team permission can create team Contact Tags, Lead Sources, Custom Fields and SmartPlans, that your entire team will use. Using this team standardization, we can ensure that everyone on your team is following all of the standards and processes set by team Rainmakers.
Agent Permission Levels
In the team Command account there are three types of permission levels that a member of a team can have: Standard, Enhanced, or Unlimited. The access level of the team member will determine what they can and can not do across Command for Teams:
Standard - this is the default setting, and will be the basic permission level for most agents on a team. This permission level gives the agent access to view and manage the leads/contacts, in the team Command account, that they own or are assigned to, but not to create or edit team tags, custom fields, SmartPlans.
Enhanced - this is the basic permission level for the admins on a team. This permission level gives the agent access to view and manage all leads/contacts in the team Command account, and to create or edit team SmartPlans.
Unlimited - this is the permission level that all Rainmakers will have. A Rainmaker can give this to an associate on their team, but be careful with this permission level. This permission level gives full access to the team Command account. This permission level gives the agent access to view and manage all leads/contacts in the team Command account, create team tags, custom lead sources and custom fields, create or edit team SmartPlans, manage lead routes, and generally do anything the Rainmaker can do. In addition, associates with this permission level will be able to create guest user admins, request changes to the team roster, and edit agent permissions.
Team Management
- Rainmakers have the ability to set different permission levels for each team member, which will control what that team member can see and do in the team Command account.
- Rainmakers also have the ability to request changes to the official team roster, in Command as well. Using the Team Management page in Command, they can request team changes, either adding or removing members. These requests will be sent to their MCA and Assistant MCAs, they will make the necessary changes, and then let the Rainmaker know when the changes have been completed.
- Outside of the official team roster, Rainmakers also have the ability to create Guest User Admin accounts, for someone who is not a part of their Market Center, like a virtual assistant.
Lead Routing
- In Command, Rainmakers have a way to automatically distribute leads to their team members through lead routing. They can set up one big route, set up multiple routes for different days of the week/times of day, and they can even set up special routes for holidays or specific lead sources.
- These lead routes will give their agents the ability to claim leads, though the leads will go to the next agent in the route if they don't claim them in the time that is specified. Any leads that are not claimed by any agent will go to the unassigned Lead Pool.

Teams and Contacts
There is a clear distinction between an agent's team Command account and an agent's personal Command account, this is especially true for an agent's database. In an agent's personal database, they will use their own tags, custom fields, etc., and the team will have very limited visibility. In the team Command account, however, the team's database is streamlined for collaboration. Everyone will use the same team standards (custom tags, custom fields, custom lead sources), and will be able to collaborate using team permissions and primary/secondary assignee fields.
Rainmakers and Admins
When a team is created and recognized in Command, there are a few things that the Rainmaker or Admin will need set up for their team's contact management organization:
- Create team Contact Tags
-
Create team Custom Lead Sources
- (there is a default list, so you would only need to add any that are not included on that list)
- Create team Custom Fields
-
Assign any leads or contacts to team members
- Here are some additional resources around using Contacts, in the team Command account.
These will be used by all of the members of the team in the team Command account. This also allows Rainmakers and Admins to standardize the way leads and contacts are being organized and tracked.
Team Members
If an agent joins a team after being a single agent at first, they will need to do a few things to get up and running with the team:
- Change the account of contacts in their personal database so they can be worked on by team members as well as themselves from within the team Command account.
- Transfer any lead or contact ownership to the team if necessary. This would give the new lead or contact owner the ability to delete or export so be sure to use this feature with purpose.
-
Add team contact tags, custom fields, and custom lead sources to the contacts within the team contact database.

Teams and SmartPlans
In the team Command account, Rainmakers and associates with Enhanced or Unlimited permission levels will create and manage team SmartPlans, which the entire team will be able utilize. All an agent, with standard permissions, has to do is add leads and contacts. In this way, everyone uses the same standards when communicating with their databases.
Rainmakers and Admins
When a team is created and recognized in Command, there are a few things that the Rainmaker or Admin will need set up for their team's SmartPlans:
- Designate agent assignees for team SmartPlan steps.
- Add a SmartPlan to the team SmartPlans library.
-
Create a team SmartPlan.

These SmartPlans will be used by all members of the team in the team Command account.
Team Members
When an agent joins the team they will be able to do the add and remove team contacts to and from team SmartPlans:
- Add leads and contacts to team SmartPlans.
-
Remove leads and contacts from SmartPlans.

Teams and Opportunities
With the new team functionality in Command, an important point to keep in mind is that Opportunities is not a part of the new release. There has already been robust team functionality built in, but things like permission levels and switching to the team Command account will not affect this applet yet. That being said, you still have the ability to collaborate in Opportunities and work as a team to service your clients using the standards you have set.
Agents on a team have access to both personal and team Opportunities, by default. If an agent creates a personal Opportunity (doesn't select the team when creating the Opportunity), the Rainmaker and other team members will have no visibility into any of the details or progress. Also, the team and personal versions of Opportunities have totally separate pipeline customization. With that in mind, Rainmakers have the ability to turn off the personal version of Opportunities for all team members, or select team members, depending on how the team is set up. If the personal version of Opportunities is turned off, every Opportunity that agent creates will live in the team pipeline, and the Rainmaker will always be the owner of the Opportunity (this ownership does not affect the agent split, which is controlled by how the Commission Request is structured. |
- Create a team Opportunity.
- Add or remove assignees to and from a team Opportunity.
-
Assign Opportunity tasks to a team member.

Teams and Campaigns
In the team Command account, Rainmakers and team members with either an Enhanced or Unlimited permission level have the ability to run campaigns on behalf of their team. It's usually either the Rainmaker or the team Admin that runs ads for the team. During the creation of a team campaign, the Rainmaker or admin will have the ability to choose how the newly captured leads will be routed to the team, select contact tags to be automatically applied to the new leads, and select which SmartPlans that the new leads will be assigned to.
- Connect your social accounts for team campaigns.
- Select default accounts for team campaigns.
- Add a credit card and manage payments for team campaigns.
-

Teams and Designs
In the team Command account, team members can create designs, for a shared team design library. You will see different options, depending on the permission level you have, in the team account. Once you create team designs, you have the ability to not only save and download these designs, but you will also need to use the team design library for future team SmartPlans or Campaigns.
- Share Copies of Personal Designs with the Team Design Library in Command (Enhanced/Unlimited).
- Set Up Your Team's Print and Social Template Library in Designs (Enhanced/Unlimited).
- Add Brand Assets to Your Team's Print and Social Design Library.
- Create a Team Social Media Marketing Design.
- Create a Team Print Marketing Design.
- Create a Team Neighborhood Video in Designs.
- Create Team Email Designs (Enhanced/Unlimited).
