You are currently not able to figure which connections are free and which ones aren’t that in the Command user interface. If you have just one PieSync connection, then there is nothing to worry about. That one connection will always be free. However, once you have two or more, then it might not be that easy to figure out.
How PieSync decides which connections are free and which ones aren’t, is explained here, in this article we’ll explain to you where you can find out where it is actually shown.
The easiest way to find this out is by going to your PieSync account directly (instead of accessing your connection through Command):
- Go to piesync.com and log in in the top right corner.
- Use the email address associated with your Command. This email address can be found when you go to your ‘profile’ in Command.
- Once you’ve signed into your PieSync account, you should see your connections in front of you, like this:
In case you only see a list of applications, it means that you have logged into a different PieSync account, one that does not have the connections you set up through Command. You will need to sign out and log in with a different email address.
Once you’ve accessed your PieSync account and you see your connection you can immediately see which ones are considered free and which ones aren’t through the label ‘Free’ in the bottom right corner of each connection tile. In the screenshot above, you can see that the connection on the left will be considered free, whereas the one on the right is not.
Which connection is considered free might change over time, but PieSync will always keep the one that in sync the most contacts free. If you have any outstanding questions regarding your billing please contact PieSync Support.
