You can now create form templates in DocuSign Rooms to prefill association forms. If your forms contain some of the same information for each transaction (such as your name, company name, or the same field selections), create form templates to save time.
If you complete the same form in different ways for different situations (for example, cash deal vs. finance deal), you can create multiple templates for the same form. However, template names must be unique. Your form templates are only visible to you and can't be shared with others. |
Once you add forms that have a form template to a DocuSign Room, you will be able to apply the template at any time. Once it is applied, it will auto-fill the form with the information you entered in the template. The details you completed in the template will populate the form and push to the Details page in the Room. The fields on the Details page correspond to fields in the association forms, so information that is added or populated in the Details page will then auto-fill into other forms that include the same field, once they are added to the Room.

1. Access the DocuSign Room through Command.

Apply a Template While Adding Documents to the Room
1. Click the Add button and select DocuSign forms from the drop-down.

2. As you are selecting forms to add to the Room, you will see a drop-down appear to the right of some forms. These are forms that you have created templates for. Select the template for that form, finish selecting the forms you want to add, then click Add Selected.

Apply Template to Documents in the Room
1. If the form has already been added to the Room, right click on the form, then select Apply Form Template from the drop-down.

2. You will see a list of templates you have created for this form, select the template, then click Apply.
The details you completed in the template will populate the form and push to the Details page in the Room. The fields on the Details page correspond to fields in the association forms, so information that is added or populated in the Details page will then auto-fill into other forms that include the same field, once they are added to the Room.
