When a contact unsubscribes from Twilio texts from a SmartPlan, they are only unsubscribed from Twilio texts. They are still subscribed to the SmartPlan, so any remaining non-text steps will still go out. For example: if the plan has a text and email step, if they unsubscribe from the text they will still get the following email.
Keep in mind, when a client unsubscribes from your text they are unsubscribed from your Twilio number entirely. This means they will not receive any further texts from other SmartPlans or direct/bulk texts.
