The Command App was built to allow agents to access their database quickly and easily, while on-the-go. It's easy to find exactly what you are looking for in the app, but there are some considerations to be aware of. The most important this to remember is that the Command App was created to offer agents the easy access to functionality most needed on-the-go, not to be a replacement for All Command.
In order to make things easier when you are on-the-go be sure to have things like contact tags and SmartViews created prior to using the Command App. Once they have been set up, you will be able to utilize them in the Command App with ease.
To find leads and contacts in the Command App:
1. Log in to the Command App with your KW login credentials.
If you are on a team and want to use the team side of the Command App, tap your Profile Picture, at the top left of the screen, then ensure your team is selected.

2. Tap the Contacts icon, , on the bottom of the screen.
3. From here you can access contacts through quick filters at the top of the contact list. This includes Contacts, Leads, Recently Active, and SmartViews (which will be covered in a later section). You can also utilize the search bar to find contacts by their first or last name, email address, or home address.
Filters & Sorting
1. To sort or filter your contacts list, tap the Filter link, on the right side of the search bar.
2. In the Sort By drop-down, you can sort your contacts by Name, when they were Updated, when they were Created, when they were last Contacted, and who was most Recently Active (logged in to your Site or App, viewed listings, etc.) on your branded KW App or KW Site.
You can also use the Sort Order drop-down to choose which direction to sort, based on the Sort By option you selected (A-Z, Recent to Oldest, etc.)
3. You can filter your database by Contacts or Leads (or both). This is based on who you have marked as a lead, or not, in your Command Database.
- Lead - someone you have minimal contact information for and have earned the right to reach out to. Communication with leads is offer-based and focused on identifying their motivation.
- Contact - someone you have had a two-way conversation with and have established a value-based relationship with. Contacts are people you have implied or explicit permission to have an ongoing connection with.
4. Next is the ability to filter contacts by when they were Last Contacted. Either contacts that have been contacted recently (Within Last) or haven't contacted for an extended period of time (Longer Than).
5. Additionally, you can filter contacts by when they have been Recently Active on your branded KW App or KW Site. Either contacts that have been active recently (Within Last) or haven't been active for an extended period of time (Longer Than).
6. You can use the Created Date filter to view contacts by when they were created. Either contacts that were created recently (Within Last) or that are older than a certain time (Longer Than).
7. Two great filters are the Tags and Lead Source filters, which allow you to get granular with your contact list, either filtering by your organized segmentation or where the lead came from. You can select multiple options using these filters, each selection expanding the list of contacts.
8. A new filter is the Neighborhood filter, which allows you to locate contacts that don't have a neighborhood added to their contact record.
9. (Teams Only) If you are in your team Command App account, you can filter contacts based on the team member Assignee.
10. Tap Apply when done. After the filter has been applied, the contacts that fit the criteria will be displayed and the filters can be cleared as well.
SmartViews
SmartViews are a set of filters that have been saved within Command to easily access and manage contacts within the set criteria. SmartViews can be switched throughout the day as well.
1. Tap the SmartViews tab at the top of the screen.
2. Next tap the SmartViews drop-down. All SmartViews from the desktop version of Command will be displayed here so you can quickly access contact lists while on the go. If there is a SmartView you would like to create, you will need to do so on the desktop version of Command.
