We now have the ability to create and schedule Instagram social posts in Command. These posts will be associated with a professional Instagram account, and will drive people to your Facebook Business Page.
Before you can start posting, there are a few things to do to set up for success:
- Create an Instagram Account.
- Convert your personal Instagram account to a professional account.
- Connect your Instagram account to your Facebook Business Page.

- There are two separate views you in Facebook that you might see, so two sections for this in the article. For this, choose the section of the article that matches what you see in Facebook.

- Connect your account to Command.
- Start posting!
To set up for success and connect your Instagram account to Command:
Convert Your Personal Instagram to a Professional Account
1. Log in to Instagram.com with your login for that platform.
2. Click your profile picture, at the top right of the page, and select Settings from the drop-down.
3. At the bottom of the menu on the left side of the page, click Switch to Professional Account.
- If you see a different UI than what is shown, click here for a separate set of instructions for this step.
4. You will see two options for your professional account, select Business and click Next.
5. A confirmation will appear, click Next.
6. A list of account categories will appear, select your category and click Done.
- Use the Show Category on Profile checkbox above the list to determine whether you want to display this category on your Instagram profile.
7. The next page shows fields where you can enter your business contact information, click either Don't Use My Contact Info, or Save.
- Use the Show Contact Info on Profile checkbox above the list to determine whether you want to display this information on your Instagram profile.
You will know you are successful when you go to Instagram Settings and see Professional Account in the Settings menu.
Connect Your Instagram Account to Your Facebook Business Page (Old Facebook UI - scroll to the next section if your view of the FB Business page is different than below)
1. Log in to Facebook and access the Facebook Business Page you want to associate with your Instagram account.
2. On the left side of the page, in the Page Settings section, click Instagram.
3. At the top right of the page, click Connect Account.
4. Enter your Instagram login, if you aren't already logged in, and click Log In.
You will know you are successful when you go to the Instagram settings page, from the Page Settings menu, and you will see a Connected Instagram Account section, at the top of the page.
Connect Your Instagram Account to Your Facebook Business Page (New Facebook UI)
1. Log in to Facebook and access the Facebook Business Page you want to associate with your Instagram account.
2. On the left side of the Manage Page screen, click Professional Dashboard.
3. On the left side of the page, under Your Tools, click Linked Accounts.
4. Select Instagram, then click Connect Account.
5. A confirmation will appear, click Connect.
6. Ensure the toggle for accessing Instagram messages is turned on, then click Confirm.
7. Enter your Instagram login, if you aren't already logged in, and click Log In.
You will know you are successful when you go to the Linked Accounts Instagram page, and see the connected account.
Connect Your Instagram Account to Command

1. Log in to https://agent.kw.com with your KW login credentials.
2. Click your name, at the top right of the page, and select Settings.
3. On the Applications settings page, find Instagram (Post Scheduling) and click Connect Account.
4. This uses the Facebook login associated with your Facebook Business page. Enter your Facebook login credentials and click Log In.
- If you have already connected Facebook to Command Settings, you won't see this step.
5. A list of your Facebook Business Pages will appear, select the page associated with your Instagram account and click Connect.
You'll know you are successful when you see Manage and Connect More buttons, instead of Connect. You do have the ability to connect more than one Instagram account here by clicking Connect More.
Now you will be ready to schedule social posts for your Instagram account(s).
